WHEN: Sat @6pm PARKING: There is metered parking around, and is free after 6pm. It may be a bit tricky especially around meal time, but keep circling and youβll find a spot near by enough. This cute little ramen shop has such perfect lighting coming through thanks to thier skylight. We werenβt actually hungry so we shared the following: TONKOTSU - $16.50 (Regular) Pork Belly Chashu, Bamboo Shoots, Red Onion, Wood Ear Mushrooms, Green Onion, Ajitama Egg. You get a choice of noodles to pick: 1.) Hakata - Thin Straight 2.) Sapporo - Medium Thick Wavy Figured since itβs my first time here, I choose the most basic version of their bowl of ramen. I chose Sapparo and for some reason expected it to be thicker/wider, but regardless it was still good! The presentation of this bowl is just gorgeous, served on a small wooden platter. The red onion is chopped, and the pork Belly is quite tender. Regarding the egg, you get just half. Overall this bowl of ramen is creamy, rich, and the right amount of flavor and salt. But still make sure to drink at least a glass of water! CREAMY CHASHU PORK CROQUETTES - $8.50 I have never seen anything like this so I must give it a try! It actuall

By far the best Ramen I had in the Berkeley area. The two soup bases were both very rich in flavor. The toppings were very fresh. Pork and chicken cha soup both go well with the soup. One of the highlights for the meal was the matcha panna cotta. It's not too sweet so can the matcha flavor can stand out. Very balanced with the red bean and soft cream. They have a hojicha flavor one too, will try next time!

One of the best ramen spots Iβve tried!! everything was honestly sooo good. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome. They were attentive, kind, and really added to the overall experience. The ramen itself was the perfect bowl! the noodles had the ideal texture, and the broth was rich, flavorful, and comforting without being too heavy. You can tell a lot of care goes into every bowl. Highly recommend

Great experience! The atmosphere feels authentic, chill and cozy. The service is awesome and the food is above all. Food tastes fresh. Spicy is right there. Matcha classic.

Ramen quality deserved 5 stars. Atmosphere and Service - so so and thereβs room for improvement. First, please do not make people wait outside a cold alley. Invert a tablet for people to put in their phone numbers for waitlist. So you can text when your table is ready for the party. Or pay a little bit for Yelp or Google to form your waitlist. Second, please use a QR code for customers to order food at the table. Itβs fastest and it would not make any mistakes by the servers. Third, hire more servers as theyβre already busy enough. If you claim youβre authentic Japanese Ramen, then do it more efficiently. You can turn your tables quicker that way. One last thing, ask to take out the red onion in your ramen. It doesnβt belong in tradition noodle soup.
